Trail Overview
The Brevort-Trout Lake Motorcycle West Trail is a dirt bike-specific trail that runs north-south between the towns of Brevort and Trout Lake, Michigan. This stretch of trail is made up of some of the tightest single track that can be found within the state of Michigan. Unlike its twin trail East, this trail has more sand and is generally a bit more open. Brevort-Trout Lake West also sports an exciting collection of large boulders strewn throughout the woods placed there by glacial deposits long ago. Expect stumps, rocks, and other unseen obstacles throughout the trail. Lots of small rocks and overgrown pricker bushes add to the general challenge of this section. You can expect black dirt and shallow sand for optimal traction, with the exception of a few small sections that are made of flat shield rock.
