Trail Overview

This easy, graded gravel road takes you on a beeline through a checkerboard of Arizona Trust Land and Babbitt Ranch lands on your way to the historic and amazingly preserved Aso Ranch. Along the way, you'll have your head on a swivel taking in the sweeping views of the San Francisco Mountains to your south and Painted Desert to the North. Note: you are passing through Arizona Trust Land, which requires a recreational use permit that can be purchased online for $15 and is good for 1 year.

Start by obtaining an Arizona Trust Lands Recreation permit here: https://azland.my.salesforce-sites.com/recreationalpermit/. Access is located on Highway 89 just south of Easy Joe's Saloon.
