Trail Overview
This is a great shorter trail that branches off the main trail on Mary Cole Ridge. This trail is about a mile and a half long of various rocky roads, with occasional bypasses to get around some of the staircase-like rocks. The bypasses are very narrow in some spots, making it difficult if you have a wider or longer vehicle. You will have a small creek crossing that is very easy to cross in the dry season but could be a bit deeper if it has recently rained. There are also a couple of mud holes that have the possibility of coming up to the front bumper on a stock Wrangler. These are super easy to get through, with minimal big rocks underneath. The mud is not super sticky. Once you get to the end of the trail, going right will take you through a rather steep inclined trail where 4-low and a spotter are recommended. This trail would be ideal for a lifted vehicle but can be done in a stock Wrangler as long as you are careful. Once you get to the end of it, it will take you back to the main trail on Mary Cole Ridge. If you take a left instead, you will hit a trail that leads to private property.
