Trail Overview
NFS 9845 is a fun out-and-back, side shoot off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. It twists and turns and crosses over the Cedar Creek Motorsport Trail, which is used for ATVs and dirt bikes. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause major washouts on a few of the steep hilly sections. These sections can form ledges with exposed tree roots. Use caution after inclement weather! This trail is also not trafficked as much as other nearby trails. Therefore the trail has some tree branch overgrowth. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass and ends with a loop at the top of a ridge. Regardless of the conditions, this is a pretty fun side spur trail!

Difficulty
A few of the washed-out, hilly sections that are sandy with tree roots cutting through give this difficulty rating a 3. These washouts create ledges on a steep section of the trail. This trail is also only wide enough for 1 to 2 vehicles with limited places to pass.
