Trail Overview
This Forest Service Road traverses a canyon around the base of the locally famous Two Tops Mountain. Snowmobilers and 50" SxSs can go to the top, but larger machines are restricted from the area. This canyon is a beautiful drive from the large meadow near Robin's Roost to a meadow just below Two Tops. The drive is fun, but watch out for animals. One of the pictures shows the tracks of a moose being chased by a wolf and her pup in the mud. The Forest Service has closed the upper meadow as others who have not respected the 50" limit have found ways around the trails. Please respect the limits and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Up at the top, there are numerous great places to sit and have a peaceful lunch.

Difficulty
This is a Forest Service Road until you get to the very top where it turns into two track for the last mile or so. There are washes and rocks in areas but any pickup or other slightly higher vehicle should be able to traverse the path with a little care. This does get early snow because of the elevation.
