Trail Overview

Mosquito Bay North Trail takes you through the Lochloosa Water Management Area. The trail connects Fish Camp Road North with Fish Camp Road Connector and allows access to the Mosquito Bay Pond. The road conditions are a mixture of packed sand, loose sand, and some deep holes that can turn into 2-foot-deep mud holes after rainy days. Some sections require 4WD and high clearance. Part of the trail is pretty uneven, up to 15 degrees. OHVs are not permitted in this area.

Last water hole on the trail is about 4 feet deep,I was stuck at that hole for about 3 hours before having to call a tow truck, other way to cross through it through the edge of that water/mud hole,do not cross in middle of it if vehicle is not made for mudding and about 3 feet of ground clearance
