Trail Overview

This trail is closed from April 30 to November 30. It's a moderately challenging trail with some decent articulation sections, off-camber sections, narrow sections, and some mud at the start, depending on recent rainfall volumes. There is also a fairly big rock that will need to be driven over if you're driving a wider vehicle but can be avoided in a narrower vehicle. At the top, the trail ends for all but dirt bikes. The end for 4-wheel vehicles is a truly beautiful view of the valley below and the Bow River that is more than worth the adventure up. Some side trails can be explored but they're narrower trails and there are limited areas to meet oncoming traffic. There are no bypasses either and few places to turn around, so you will have to be committed for the most part.

definitely recommend lockers if you're running IFS. deep notches and steep rocky climbs will keep you in 4low for half the journey.. hope you don't mind a little pin striping and bruised wheels to remember your trip here
