Trail Overview
Bear Lake Main FSR is a two-vehicle wide main road that runs from Westside Rd in West Kelowna to the Connector (Coquihalla Hwy). This trail runs from the junction of Esperon FSR to Lambly Lake (also known as Bear Lake). There are times that this road has been recently grated but the majority of the time it has a fair amount of washboard as well as small to medium potholes. It is considered an emergency route but it is usually not plowed in winter. The road is lined with forests with the occasional view of the valley below. You will encounter other vehicles along the way as well as logging vehicles. At the end of this section of the trail, you will find Lambly Lake Recreation Site. There are 22 campsites with picnic tables and fire pits as well as pit toilets. Electric motors only while you fish for yellow perch. Cell service is hit and miss so a satellite device is advisable.
