Trail Overview
Starting off Highway 3 as you climb over the Salmo-Creston Pass, you descend into the North Star Valley along a well-traveled dirt road. Along the trail, you can expect some rutted sections and fallen rock with a few switchbacks. You travel through an amazing valley with great views and end at the Boundary Lake Recreation Site. (A radio is required on this road as there is active logging, RR-09 Maryland Forest Service Road.)
