Trail Overview
As you travel along Highway 37 from the North, you'll come across a pullout marked "Mitten Mainline." This dirt road will lead you into the picturesque Kispiox Valley, known for its breathtaking fall colors in mid-September. Along the way, you'll encounter a couple of scenic lakes perfect for a refreshing swim or, if you'd like to stay a night, both lakes have a BC recreation site where you can set up camp. After approximately 50 kilometers on this road, take a right onto Kispiox Road and follow it until you reach pavement and arrive at the village of Kispiox. Here, you can explore the village's impressive totem poles or continue on to Hazelton, where you'll find the renowned K'san Historical Village and Museum.
