Trail Overview

This is a fairly easy trail through the backwoods and lakes north of Corner Brook and heading northwest to Cox's Cove, Newfoundland. There are a number of interesting points along the trail with scenic views of lakes, cliffs, valleys and several sign posts along the way. The trail can be run in either direction and there are paved roads at both ends.

Difficulty

Most of the trail can be driven in a high clearance 2WD vehicle with caution in areas with washouts. Wet weather or recent snow increases challenges.

Access Description

Corner Brook Trailhead is in a rural residential area along Highway 440. Cox's Cove Trailhead is near the north end of Highway 440. Turn right towards Cox's Cove and continue through town on Country Road. The trail starts at far end of town.
