Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 9839/6191 is an easy, fun off-road trail for beginners. Located near South Queens Highway, this route is easily accessible. The trail travels through some gorgeous tall Michigan Pine trees and is very easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail is a sand and dirt combination and weaves through this beautiful forest. There are many other trails nearby to explore as well. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this track is only wide enough for 1 vehicle. There are a few pull-off spots for passing, though. There are lots of forest logging operations in this area, so please use caution. This is a trail that should be experienced at least once to take in its sincere beauty.
