Lake Eva Loop

Trail Overview

The loop will take you around Lake Eva in Houghton County. Looping from M-26 to Misery Bay Road on a network of old logging roads and improved county roads the loop takes you through the forests of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The road is not maintained regularly and is not signed and can be very muddy and rutted through the middle section. This is a logging area and you may encounter logging trucks and equipment.

Difficulty

While there are sections of graded gravel road the loop also has unminatianed logging roads with mud, water, and ruts. The loop is not maintained in Winter and is not advisable to drive during the Spring thaw.
