Trail Overview
Birch Hill Motorcycle Trail is a dirt bike-specific trail that is located on the east end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This trail is made up of some tight single track that is famous for its rock. Unlike most other Michigan single track, this trail consists mostly of a rock base with lots of rocks large and small directly in the trail. Birch Hill Motorcycle Trail also sports an extensive collection of large boulders strewn throughout the woods placed there by glacial deposits long ago. There are several spots where you will ride over, next to, or by these exceptionally large rocks. Expect stumps, rocks, and other unseen obstacles throughout the trail. Lots of small rocks and overgrown pricker bushes add to the general challenge of this section. You can expect the trail to be mostly rock with some dirt on top.
