Trail Overview
The trail starts just outside the RV park on the Gulf of California and cruises around the area. The trails are very easy and don't require 4WD. There are little hill climbs and sandy areas you can choose to offroad in, but it's all driver selection. The locals allow UTVs and ATVs to drive on the road, assuming you follow the rules of the road. There are lots of rental companies in the area for ATVs and UTVs and they take groups out. If you have your own toy, whether Jeep, UTV, or ATV, ask a guide to join and tip them. Going on a hosted trip like this works well and keeps you out of trouble. Be mindful of the tide when you near La Chola Bay. The tide goes way out and is deceiving. Also, the marsh can suck you up, so be careful. Go around the marsh near the bay if you are unsure.

Difficulty
This is an easy trail with driver-selected challenges. You can run the whole thing in 2WD except for one little hill climb that is optional. You may need 4WD if the marsh is muddy.
