Trail Overview
1594 is a 5-mile-long ATV trail that connects Hurricane Wash Road to Warner Valley Road, crossing the Arizona/Utah border about halfway through. The east end is accessed through the short ATV Trail 2056. The whole trail is a wide two-track through the desert, on red dirt with a little bit of sand. The trail is lined with small bushes and cactus, and it's frequently signed throughout the trail so it's easy to follow even though there are a lot of offshoots. The trail is overall really easy, with features like whoops, ravines, rocky wash crossings, small hills, and easy curves. It has epic scenery as you ride over red mesas and can see the red cliffs of Sand Mountain to the north. It crosses the Fort Pearce Wash before ending at Warner Valley Road on the west end at an area known as the Boneyard. This is a very typical trail for this lower OHV area that isn't too hard and is fun to explore along with many other trails in the area. There are much harder trails on top of the mesa in the Sand Mountain Open Riding Area.
