Trail Overview
21 Tank is an interesting trail adjacent to the Power Line Trail in the Prescott National Forest. Dirt and mud, this trail is a bit slippery after rain or snow. With numerous wash crossings and erosion, you'll want to pay attention to this drive, but have no fear, as there are no obstacles over 12 inches on this trail. Further in, the landscape changes to more rocky, with small cliffs and exposed hillsides that drop off into washes. You'll also encounter the unique transition from juniper forest to the dominating ponderosa pines that tower over the forests of Northern Arizona. A popular area with hunters, there are spots for camping or parking along this trail. The trail terminates at a large wildlife water tank, the Section 21 Tank.
