Trail Overview
The 26 Mix Trail runs along the grasslands and mixed pine trees of the Kaibab National Forest. A dirt two-track, you'll encounter everything from rocks to mud ruts along this trail as it winds through this interesting landscape. Other than the rock-lined up and downhills, there are no obstacles on this trail, though the narrow trees, off-camber mud ruts, and wash crossings may be enough to give you pause. There is no service on this trail, so offline maps are highly recommended. Evidence of wild horses, elk, and deer abound, so keep a lookout for wildlife in the area. There are a few campsites as well, with primitive rock rings and areas for tents.
