Trail Overview
3380 Camp is a fun and delightful trail, a pleasant surprise in an area that is continually shaped by the water that flows through it. There are a few fun fast wash sections that contrast nicely with the sections of erosion that will cause you to slow down so as not to damage your vehicle. There are a few sporadic campsites along this trail mostly toward the south end, where the space between bushes is more pasture than desert, but mostly it's lined with vegetation and cacti of various species. You'll want to pay attention on this trail as it's a popular grazing area for local ranchers. This route is on Arizona State Trust Land. This land requires a yearly permit that can be purchased and printed online. The permits allow certain recreational activities, including camping, bicycling, bird watching, GPS-based recreational activities (geocaching), hiking, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle (OHV) usage, photography, picnicking, and sightseeing.
