Trail Overview
This is a nice and easy dirt trail in an extensive network of other trails in this area. It can get confusing, and some of the numbered trail signs are faded from the sun. This area of the desert is stunning. It's full of giant saguaros and surrounded by jagged mountains. If you are out here in the springtime after a wet winter, the wildflowers are out of control! This trail runs into other main trails that can be ventured further into the mountains. There is an old corral on one end of this trail with a metal water silo. There is no dispersed camping along the route. However, there is a nice open area across from the corral that could be used for dispersed camping. It is quiet out here, with intermittent cell service. Only one bar of AT&T fades in and out, so download offline maps before heading out to explore the area. The desert can be a dangerous place. Be sure to bring plenty of extra water and supplies. This is rattlesnake country, so be sure to watch for them.

Difficulty
The trail is mostly easy, with dirt, rolling slight hills, and short, easy wash crossings. Some large potholes fill with water and could be muddy after a storm. There is also evidence of rutting from traffic when it was wet.
