Trail Overview
This short and sweet out and back heads from the main Gas Line Road up into the hills past a few abandoned mines. There are a few great camping spots with well-established rock fire rings, but the star of the day is the fantastic views of the surrounding valley as you climb back into the hills. There is plenty of chances to view the Air Force flying low in their F-22 Raptors and tipping a wing to say hello. The cell service is 2 bars of Verizon LTE, and some of the dips into the washes cause it to fade out. Generally, it's easy with shorter, loose hill climbs and deeper wash transitions one may catch a bumper on without careful tire placement. One wash crossing near the end is very loose, steep, and off-camber. There is plenty of sharp desert plants in the narrow sections that will cause paint damage and potential sidewall damage.

Difficulty
Generally easy with some steep wash crossing transitions and one really deep wash crossing near the end, even with a high clearance vehicle bumper or armor, contact should be expected.
