Trail Overview
This trail is located just off Apache Maid Road and forms a 7.1-mile loop. It starts on 644E. Shortly after you begin, you'll come across an abandoned cabin and a beautiful meadow. Most of the trail is only wide enough for one vehicle, and it switches from dirt to rocky terrain. If you go after heavy rain, there might be deep ruts, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. It's best to go on a non-holiday weekend because it can get crowded with side-by-sides and dirt bikes.

Difficulty
The trail is a bumpy dirt path with some loose rocks and sandy spots. You might have to cross shallow water if it rains, less than a foot deep. There could be muddy areas and obstacles up to a foot high, and some deep rutted spots. The path is usually just wide enough for one vehicle, but there are spots where you can pull over to let others pass.
