Trail Overview
This trail connects the Belmont Mountain trail to the Blue Wash Mine. It's not exactly a shortcut to the mine because the trail crosses so many washes. There are lots of hills to slow down for and washes to navigate into and out of. There are a couple of small washed-out sections along the trail and loose gravel hills. The trail has stunning views of the mountains, and there are a couple of beautiful dispersed campsites close to the Belmont Mountain near the end of the trail with established fire rings. There are many excellent trails and small mines to explore in the area. There is one bar of intermittent AT&T 5G cellular service. This area gets extremely hot in the summer months. Bring lots of water and supplies if traveling during the summer.

Difficulty
There are a couple of loose gravel hill climbs. Be ready to negotiate steep transitions into and out of washes. A stock 4x4 may encounter bumper contact if poor line choices are made. The route is narrow, with overgrown desert plants that have the potential to cause paint damage.
