Trail Overview
This is a sandy, unimproved high desert track that connects the eastern and western Betty Lee Mine Loop north-south tracks. A separate trail that leads north to Baker Tanks intersects this trail at about the midway point. This track winds its way through many tight bends and sand washes and also traverses a portion of a low-level aircraft bombing range run-in. If you're lucky, you may get to witness low-level fighter aircraft lining up for their bombing at levels down to 50 feet above ground level.
