Trail Overview
This is a fun trail that heads up and through a few of the hills in this area. It connects to the 9055 Garcia Tank trail and the beginning of the 9056b Rock Circle Trail. The trail has several long, loose, rocky hills to negotiate as it gains or loses elevation. One of the hills is particularly narrow with loose rocks. The views along this trail are stunning looking out across the valley. There are a few tight transitions here and there to get up or down the hills. Many saguaro cacti and cholla dot the hills along the trail. There is one excellent flat dispersed campsite close to the trail's end where it meets up with the 9055 Garcia Tank. There may be a little shade from the overgrown desert bushes. This area gets excessively hot in the summer months, so bring extra water and supplies during the warmer times of the year. There is little to no usable cell service. Be sure to download your offline maps before traveling in this area.
