Trail Overview
This is another nice dirt trail that cuts around the lower section of the Jimmie Wash. The trail has lots of little dirt rollers and some bumps that throw you side to side a bit. There are a few short gravel rock sections and a few minor washes to cross. Otherwise, this is a nice rolling dirt trail. Many big, beautiful saguaro cacti dot the hills and the trail. This trail is part of an extensive network of trails in the area. In the springtime, it's a beautiful area to explore, with lush green desert plants and tiny colorful flowers. Lots of lizards and birds are found among the rocks and in the landscape. This area gets extremely hot and dusty in the summer months, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. Use caution and watch for rattlesnakes when getting into and out of your rig. A single bar of Verizon LTE cellular service fades in and out. Be sure to have your offline maps downloaded before attempting this route.

Difficulty
For an easy and scenic cutover, this trail is it. Easy dirt, rolling hills, or some SxS chop is the most complicated thing you will encounter. There are a few places to allow for oncoming traffic to pass, but it's generally narrow two-track.
