Trail Overview
Buck Farm Canyon Rate 2/3 Ellie DirtThis trail follows the canyon's edge out to Buck Farm Point, yet another nice viewpoint on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There are several excellent dispersed campsites on this peninsula with canyon views. Buck Farm Point is at the end of the trail and has an area to turn around and a lovely campsite with a large fire pit. The best river views are just a short walk to the edge. The ground is uneven as you walk out to see the views. Take extreme caution when exploring along the edge. The trail is mostly dirt with some bumpy rocks. Airing down is primarily for comfort and will also save some life on tires. An SUV can easily navigate this trail with careful tire placement. This is a remote area with spotty cell reception. It is highly recommended to download offline maps of the area before heading out. There is no access to water or facilities of any kind. Plan ahead and bring extra water and fuel when exploring this area.
