Trail Overview
This trail takes you to one of the best camping spots on the Preserve. Christmas Pass is a large outcrop and mountain that not only looks beautiful but will help protect you from some of the elements while camping. For the last few hundred feet you have to do a small rock crawl out of a wash. I would not advise sprinters, or small SUVS to try and do this trail. Most of it is very easy just the last part little part is a challenge in a lower ground clearance vehicle. 4WD is most likely NOT needed and I would assume most pickup trucks could do this trail. This is an out-and-back trail but you can continue on if you wanted to, it would put you way out on the range of Barry Goldwater.

Difficulty
