Trail Overview
Coxcombs is a single-lane dirt and rock trail that sports some mud ruts and hills along it. This trail cuts through the part of the Kaibab National Forest that is made up of Ponderosa Pine trees. The hills on this trail are typical rocky up and downs that are indicative of the Arizona landscape. Parts of this trail go through a burn scar so don't be surprised to see the charred remains of trees along the trail. Other than that, there are no obstacles along this trail. There is also no cell service, so offline maps are recommended.
