Trail Overview
Creosote Forest Run is exactly what you would expect out of a drive through the scrub brush of Arizona after a rainy season. Some parts of this trail are narrow, and paint damage is guaranteed as you wind your way through what seems like a forest of undergrowth and creosote bushes. Mostly packed dirt, this trail has a few spots of erosion and washouts along it, but the bigger problems have "easy ways around" them. This land requires a yearly permit that can be purchased and printed online. The permit allows certain recreational activities, including camping, bicycling, bird watching, GPS-based recreational activities (geocaching), hiking, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle (OHV) usage, photography, picnicking, and sightseeing.
