Trail Overview
Forest Road 122 is a road that displays the wonders of the Prescott National Forest beautifully. Winding from Ponderosa Pines through Juniper to the higher elevation mixed pines, this trail hosts a beautiful array of wildlife as well. Evidence of Elk, Muledeer, and other animals abound along this trail. While random rock gardens exist along this trail, no major obstacles exist, other than the odd mud puddle and narrow spot between trees. Campsites near the Western edge of this trail can host larger trailers, but as you head east, the space narrows. Overall, this is a slow, pleasant bumpy ride through the woods in the Prescott National Forest.
