Trail Overview
FR 308 is a single-lane forest road that starts in the Ponderosa Pines just South of Grand Canyon National Park and heads south toward the Juniper and scrub brush of the Kaibab National Forest. On this road, you might see elk, mule deer, and wild horses, as well as cattle toward the southern end. While there are no obstacles over 12" on this trail, the mud ruts run deep and could prove challenging after a rain or snowstorm. With views of Red Butte, and the San Francisco Peaks beyond, this trail has beautiful scenic views.
