Trail Overview
FR612 is a mostly rock trail that has no obstacles and no cell service on it. It is one lane, with some places to pass if you pull off of the established trail. It bobs and weaves through a dense forest of mostly aspen and ponderosa pine trees. In this area of the forest, the monsoon storms regularly cause trees to topple and block the trail, so carrying a chainsaw or large handsaw would be wise. Remember when traversing these trees to follow the Tread Lightly principles and only stay on established trails. This trail continues but the recording was stopped due to a downed tree.
