Trail Overview

A more exciting route that leads to the Edge of the World from 89A. This offshoot of Fry Park starts in a dense old-growth Ponderosa pine stand and opens up to a stunning grassland with clear views of local peaks. The terrain starts pocked with ruts, small rock fields and roots, then opens up to a dusty and rutted track. All paths have plenty of turnouts to yield right of way or avoid deep ruts without going off trail. The area can be very challenging in wet conditions and is not maintained.
