Trail Overview
As you start Forest Road 618C, the first 3 miles are relatively easy-going with minor bumps and ruts. The trail then traverses onto a saddle and becomes much more rocky. As you traverse this short climb, you will encounter a few rocky sections requiring you to pick a good line. These mild technical rocky obstacles are on a small hill climb and could be difficult after precipitation. After traversing off the saddle, the dirt road will stay rocky and rutted. As you travel farther West, the rocky surface gives way to off-and-on dirt sections. The western section also consists of several erosion ruts accompanied by loose rocks. Forest Service Road 618C ends at a cattle guard with Forest Service signs stating the motorized route has ended.
