Trail Overview

FS548 is a one-lane rocky trail that features mud ruts and off-camber wash entrances and exits. This trail cuts through the hilly country of this section of the Coconino National Forest, traversing an interesting saddle feature between two hills. Parts of this trail approach and go through private sections of property in the forest, so it's important to adhere to road rules and stay on designated paths and established roads. There are no major obstacles on this trail, though that may change as this area is prone to water damage, erosion, and flash floods that routinely change the topography of the trail. There is also no cell service along this trail, so you'll want to have offline maps downloaded for use.
