Trail Overview
This trail has a scenic view off of the main Edge of the World trail. This part of the trail is part of the Coconino National Forest, just south of Flagstaff. The entrance of the side trail is evident with Forest Service Road sign 231L. There may be snow in early spring if the road leading to the trail is opened. In early spring, there is a small stream crossing from all the snowmelt. Depending on the season/weather, there are camping areas near streams of water. There are no major obstacles to get through other than the short seasonal stream crossing. 4x4 may not be needed in summer. It may be muddy and slippery depending on the weather. The trail takes you to a small lake that you can drive next to and camp at as well. It's a nice quiet area to enjoy nature.
