Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back trail ride through a canyon that has two-hundred-foot cliffs on the sides. A class 2 trail in terms of difficulty. The end of the trail leads to Willow Springs Trail and Hack Canyon Trail. The beginning of the trail will have a gate that will need to be opened and three-quarter of a mile another gate which you'll need to open. The spring will give way to beautiful flower blooms and halfway through the trail there are remains of Hack Canyon Mine.

Difficulty

The trail is class 2 difficulty with surface type as sand, dirt, and gravel. Pay attention to the weather, especially for the possibilities of flash flooding. There was open-range livestock.

Access Description

There is a detailed sign posted at the start of Hack Canyon Trail traveling south west. Traveling northeast no sign for the Hack Canyon Trail. The beginning is at the Hack Reservoir.
