Trail Overview

This is an awesome short trail loop. It is narrow and has significant undulation. It begins on rolling desert terrain and drops into the wash with a steep descent (approx 200' elevation) and a very narrow trail. Once in the wash, the trail traverses through deep sand then over large boulders and rocky terrain. There are significant wash ruts navigating up the other side returning to the starting point. Although this is written as a loop trail, you can also take the wash in an Easterly and or Northern direction remaining in the wash if you desire to spend more time in this area. The Easterly direction heads to the dirt race track off Lake Pleasant Boulevard and the White Horse Bar and Grill while the Northern direction leads towards Carefree Highway.
