Trail Overview

Start at Mine camp trail heading east on HS18Q. It begins on a leisurely drive through the Saguaro-filled hills. As you venture farther, it gets narrower and more aggressive in the mountains. In your assent to 2625 ft., the trail advances its technical requirements. As you descend, the trail enters and out of the wash. The trail is diverted into the wash, clustered with rocks tworee feet tall. Driving rocks skills will be challenged once you start the narrow canyon. Reversing direction could be worse than continuing. Take the time to view the rock formations and canyon walls. Once you are through this trail, you will appreciate your journey.

Difficulty

There are sharp drop offs with large boulders and narrow trail between boulders. The lower part of the canyon puts you on a narrow three-to-four-foot waterfall. This trail is not recommended during inclement weather.
