Trail Overview
The Hunters Meadow Trail cuts east/west across a huge open grassy area. Bordered on all sides by ponderosa pine, the meadow itself is speckled with juniper trees and long grasses. It's in these grasses you'll most likely see the deer, elk, and antelope that call this section of the Kaibab National Forest home. At times this trail is rocky, but for the most part, it's wide open. Popular with hunters, don't be surprised to see a trailer or tent or two nestled in the shade. This area has spotty cell service, so offline maps are recommended. There are no obstacles on this trail.

Difficulty
This trail is one lane, but in a meadow, vehicles are free to pass at their leisure. There are no obstacles on this trail, however, it is unmaintained. The trail may change/become rougher with more rock exposed during/after hunting season or after a rain or snow event.
