Trail Overview
This narrow trail is an excellent way to stay out of the wash below and might be the only way to access the gate for the cattle fence that crosses the wash. It's very narrow and would surely cause paint damage to normal-width vehicles. There are a few dispersed camping spots, mainly near the highway, where there is some cell service. As one gets further along the trail, the service goes away, as does the definition of the tracks. There are off-camber sections, deep washouts, and steep, loose hill climbs. The views of the valley are spectacular, and one will pass through a dense Joshua tree forest and cholla forests. It's a good challenge and could do with a bit of trail maintenance at some point.
