Trail Overview

Old 2500 Road takes you on a single track through the scrub brush of the Coconino Plateau. It's an easy trail, with no obstacles over 12". You might see evidence of Elk, Wild Horses, and Deer grazing alongside the cattle pastures that skirt the south side of this road. This road is stunning and beautiful, with views of Red Butte to the South, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the North, and the San Francisco Peaks to the Southeast. Please remember that if you open one of the primitive cattle gates to get through, please close it behind you.
