Trail Overview
It's a strange name for a Jeep trail, but that is what shows on USGS topographic maps. Perhaps it is an old pack trail that became a 4WD trail. It's a short trail that is fun to drive--one-way to bypass the Hogsback on New Water Mountain. Lockers are strongly recommended if you are driving the trail from west to east. There is a steep, loose hill climb that would be very difficult without them. If you are driving the other way you can just slide down. There is a sharp breakover that looks questionable, but a lifted 2-door can go over it without scraping the bottom at all. A 4-door would likely be OK. The final climb up to the New Mountain road is rocky, but not difficult.

Difficulty
This is a very rocky, rutted, and off-camber trail with erosion, loose rocks, sand, washes, and obstacles up to 3 feet tall, including ledges and short, steep grades. There's the potential for deep water crossings with strong currents.
