Trail Overview
Quarry Bypass was the most fun trail of the day for me when I mapped it. It is mostly a one-lane rock trail that is lined with Juniper trees and undergrowth that is typical of this area of the Kaibab National Forest. It has 2 hill climbs made up of loose rock and tailings from the nearby rock quarries. The first climb features a bit of off-camber and ledges with large rocks sprinkled in. This is a great "line choice" exercise, and it is more fun than challenging. There are sections of erosion along this trail, with sneaky rocks along the sides and in the center of the trail that may catch the distracted driver off guard. There is no service on this trail, so offline maps are recommended. This trail skirts a large rock quarry, and large vehicles may be present, so caution is urged.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail with steep grades and hill climbs of loose rock and ledges. There are few places to turn round, and it passes by working areas where large vehicles may be present and in action. Erosion and water damage mark this trail as well, and it may become challenging after a moisture event.
