Trail Overview
Rocky Rut is a narrow trail, tree-lined and rutted out. Its ruts are off-camber and filled with rocks and other debris, so a high clearance 4x4 is necessary. Paint damage is guaranteed on this route, as some of the trees seem quite angry, reaching with their branches to mark their territory. The rock gardens get more and more challenging as this trail goes South, with many obstacles in the ruts that will make you rethink your life choices. There are a few off-camber sections as the trail meanders through the tight trees, so caution and taking your time are a must.
