Trail Overview
Spring Canyon starts as a wide, rock road that narrows into a one-lane rock trail. As you climb into the canyon, you'll encounter erosion, giving you off-camber water runoff crossings. Paint damage is guaranteed as the mixed pine and juniper crowd the tight turns through the forest. Sporadic rock gardens, wash crossings with steep entrances and exits, and the occasional sneaky rock in the trail urge you to take your time on this trail. As you make your way up the canyon to the North, this track turns into a shelf road, with a steep incline to your west, and a ravine/wash down and to your right. Also, the trail narrows considerably before heading uphill. Keep in mind a place to turn around if this trail puts you out of your comfort zone, as the further you go, they are few and far between.
