Trail Overview
The Spring Hill Trail is a rocky and rough trail that features downed trees, tight corners between trees, and a rocky hillclimb. The whole trail is shaded due to weaving between the dense trees in this area. There is a spring, and a small section of route-finding, as the overgrowth and rocky terrain hides the established path from plain view. There are campsites scattered amongst the trees, with the flatter, more open of those nearer to the ends of the trail. Taller vehicles will find that their rooflines might scrape some of the overhanging trees, as this area is dense with vegetation. There are a few hills on this trail with the most challenging one toward the West side of the trail. There is spotty cell service along this trail as it is near the I-40 interstate highway (as the crow flies). There are no major obstacles on this trail.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail through dense vegetation and tight trees. There are hill climbs of larger rocks that could present challenges after a monsoon-type rain event or snowstorm. The trail is narrow with few places to turn around or pass. Caution is urged.
