This well-graded route provides access to a great overlook of the Sycamore Rim, surrounded by big pine trees and some views of distant mountain ranges. Off the main route, you will find some spur trails that lead to dispersed camping, with plenty of space for multiple vehicles to camp. Overall, the trail's conditions are in good shape and it appears to be maintained.

This is a graded road that appears normally maintained. It leads to a Forest Service road through thick pine trees. There are some rutted-out sections that are easily avoidable. There's easy access for most vehicles, but watch for small obstacles under 12 inches.
