Trail Overview
This rocky trail starts right off the Main AZPT Route. Near the beginning are some wide open, heavily used campsites with lovely established rock fire rings. From there, the trail heads over the hill and gets a little off-camber with some loose rocky sections and narrow offshoots that lead to old mining activity. There are lots of Cholla and desert plants to observe along the way. Once over the saddle, there's a complicated loose off-camber washout as you descend into the canyon. This obstacle should not be attempted alone and is a steep drop-off downhill toward the ravine below. A well-locked straight-axle vehicle, Moto, or long travel vehicle should have no issues with careful tire placement, but extreme caution is advised. Once past this point, the trail mellows out again with a few deeper wash-crossing transitions and rocky sections, connecting with other fun trails in the area. Cell service is on the front side, fading to very little on the backside.

Difficulty
Heavy washout obstacle that is very loose and off-camber could end up in a recovery situation. Otherwise, the trails are rocky.
